Chimpanzees
Chimpanzees are quadrupedal which means that the walk on all four limbs, although they can also walk upright for short distance.
Habitat: Some chimpanzees are able to move out into quiet aivd areas, such as southwest Tanzania and Senegal. Where they are found in the secondary forests. They live in Open Woods,Bamboo forests, Swamp forests, and even open Savannah.
Appearance: Chimpanzee faces are pinkish and apes bodies are covered with long black hair. Everything but their face is a woolly fur with hair on top of the head projecting sideways.
Diet: Chimpanzees eat fruit and plants, but they also hunt. They eat lizards,frogs and even small monkeys. When chimpanzees are out in the rainforest they eat a wide variety of food that includes nuts,seeds and insect.
Species: There are two different species in the world, the bonobo chimpanzee and the common chimpanzee. There are lot more species of chimpanzees around the world.
Chimpanzees are endangered. People cut down trees in their habitat. If that keeps on happening the chimpanzees will have no place to live in.
