Tug O War
Yesterday a mystery arrived at our classroom door. What was it? It was a brown box that was huge like a giant's foot. It was a new black tug o war rope! We all shouted out loudly as the boys pulled the rope out. It was curled up like a snake twisting in the box. How long is it I asked to Rylee? We all sprinted outside in the glistening hot sun. We were all jumping around happily as Mrs Ellis roughly laid it out. We all felt excited. Room 14 carefully measured the rope with our stinky feet. After we finished measuring it with our stinky feet we all thought of different ideas. Then Floyd measured the rope with the metre ruler. Each click was silent as Floyd was rolling it on the dry green grass. The rope was 30 metres long Mrs Ellis told us. It is time for a challenge. YAY! I announced to Cassie.A. Mrs Ellis put us in 2 teams. She counted back from 5... ready set GO! We all pulled madly like a truck getting out of sticky brown mud. The other team fell over on the ground as we pulled the rope back to us. We won twice. The other half of the class loudly shouted out... NO... as we won the second game. YAY! We won.
